Following widespread tours supporting Little Mix and having sold out previous UK tours in 2016 and 2017, Jessarae will hit the road once again in the new year for eight headline shows.

With new track, No Warning, out, Jessarae spoke to The Fountain about the single, his tour with Little Mix and his favourite gig to date.

TF: You must be ecstatic about the release of your new single. How would you sum it up in one sentence?

Yeah it feels good ya know. If I had to sum it up I’d say a culmination of a lot of hard work and things finally coming together.

TF: Where did you draw inspiration for the title of track?

The title of the track just happened really. I didn’t have to think about it. A couple of us got in the studio, and originally I was on a Peter Gabriel hype to start out with so that’s how the vibe happened. I was going through a breakup at the time and was looking for a way out from that negative headspace I was in, so that’s how the song was born.

TF: What more can we expect from you in the near future – I know you have just been touring with Little Mix but are you going to be promoting the album with a tour in the new year?

Yeah that Little Mix tour was wicked!! Now loads of people are writing on twitter wanting to keep in touch and stuff so that’s cool. I’m working a lot in the studio at the moment, writing new stuff and trying to finish up my album. Right now, I’m getting ready to drop my music video for No Warning so you should be on the lookout for that. I filmed it in LA and it’s really cool. In my opinion at least haha!

TF: What has been your favourite gig to date?

My last show I played with Little Mix was in Liverpool and I thought that one was really good, so I’m going to choose that!
