Australian DIY pop artist, AIRPORTS has just released brand new single, Party All The Time! Sonically the track pays homage to a love of both hip hop and punk, combining both. Having garnered support from tastemaker radios such as Triple J (Australia), George FM (New Zealand), Kiis FM and amassing over 780,000 independent Spotify streams to date. The Fountain caught up with AIRPORTS to discuss Party All The Time as well as plans for the remainder of the year.
TF: You have a new single out, what has the reception been like to Party All The Time?
I do! Pretty great. Lots of people feeling the nostalgic emo/hip hop vibes of this one!
TF: How would you sum it up in one sentence?
Party All The Time is a fun bop about being annoyed by someone who is in love with their social clout more than you.
TF: What is your plan for the remainder of the year, after this single release?
Got a few more singles dropping very soon! The sound of these ones will be a bit different, but very fun. I can’t think of any songs that sound like them at the moment!
TF: Where is your favourite venue for playing live, where is the next place you look most forward to gigging?
I’m just looking forward to playing my own shows once the live entertainment industry is alive again, haha!
