After the two first singles Solar Parachute is back with Ain’t no Sunlight. The track will be part of the new Solar Parachute album which will be out in November 2020. It was written around the guitar riff and the slow heavy drums. This is a song about contrasts – hot/cold, loud/silent, dark/light, which echoes complicated relationships. The band spoke with The Fountain about the track and their plan for the year.

TF: You have a new single out, what has the reception been like to Ain’t no Sunlight

We have great feedback. I wrote this song four years ago, I am very happy to finally share it to the world 🙂 It’s an important track because it defines Solar Parachute’s actual sound. Energic drums, guitar riff, atmospheric vocals, big contrasts and lot of dynamics, this tune has all the ingredients and we are very glad it met a favourable reception so far .

TF: How would you sum it up in one sentence?

This track was written around the guitar riff and the slow heavy drum beat, it’s a song about contrasts-hot/cold, loud/silent, dark/light, which echoes complicated relationships.

TF: What is your plan for the remainder of the year, after this single release?

I am working on a new album which will be out in November 2020.

TF: Where is your favourite venue for playing live, where is the next place you look most forward to gigging?

We are working on booking gigs between the UK and France for 2021 when the album will be out, I am looking forward to do it and hope things will be a bit better with Covid restrictions.
