In March Living Dead Stars released brand new video In Pieces, which is taken off the bands self-titled upcoming album. Living Dead Stars brand new album was released April 3rd 2020 under record label Pavement Entertainment. The band spoke with The Fountain about the new LP and their aspirations for the remainder of the year, when the pandemic eases.
TF: You have a new album out, what has the reception been so far?
The response so far has been great. We’ve had some really excellent reviews come back for it and fan feedback has been wonderful. However, we do feel that as the majority of the large media outlets are closed cause of this pandemic we won’t know the true extent of feedback until they reopen.
TF: How would you sum up the LP in one sentence?
Thats a tough one: Years of hard work where we feel that not a single track can be considered a B side track. OR If Avenged Sevenfold and Shinedown had a wedding, this album would be the inevitable family fight.
TF: Who do you look to and idolise when it comes to influences?
Well it’s got to be Avenged Sevenfold, Breaking Benjamin and as far as lyrics go, Rise Against.
TF: What is your plan for the remainder of the year, after this release?
Now that the album is out, we plan on doing as much promo as we can for it and then later this year, once this pandemic has eased off again, we’ll be getting back to proper touring and playing the european tour with Anvil that had to be postponed.
