LOC is an emerging solo artist from Leeds, UK. Infusing woeful lyrics with punchy, synth-filled instrumentals to form relatable songs with catchy melodies. Worthy is a new track written and produced by Luke in his studio. Luke spoke with The Fountain about where LOC came from as a name as well as his plans for 2020.

TF: You have a new single out, what reception have you had thus far?

Pretty good overall! Very positive, which always helps on a first release I guess. It’s early days so I will continue to see what comes from it.

TF: How would you sum up Worthy in one sentence?

Melancholic!

TF: LOC is an unusual psuedo name, what inspired this one?

I would love to sit here and tell you that it has some great meaning.. However it is just my initials. I sat trying to come up with something else but kept going back to LOC. It works, It’s practical and most of all it’s easy to explain ha!

TF: Will you be performing the track live anytime soon, it would be great to hear it in that format?

Definitely, I am finalising my live performance and I hope to be hitting the road as soon as possible!

TF: What is your plan for the remainder of the year, some more single releases, an EP?

You should expect to see two more singles from me this year, all being well either side of summer!
