Paisley-born Laura Murray has been busy with a single out, Letting You Go, and spoke with The Fountain about the track in more detail. She also informed us about her single launch as well as the plans for the year.

TF: You have a new single out, what reception have you had thus far?

I haven’t released a single since June last year so there has been a bit of hype about the new single. The single has just been released and so far there has been a great reception. I hope it can continue as this song means a great deal to me.

TF: How would you sum up the track in one sentence? ?

Finally letting go of a past relationship that helped shape who I am.

TF: Will you be performing the track live anytime soon, it would be great to hear it in that format?

?Yes! I have a single launch party on Saturday 22nd February at Nice N Sleazy in Glasgow. Myself and the band are very excited to perform! We have amazing support from some great Scottish talent including; Cortnë, Kate McCabe and Declan James Mcleish. I’m ecstatic to have them on board and can’t wait to hear them play on the night.

TF: What is your plan for the remainder of the year, some more single releases, an EP?

?I have another few single releases on the way, and then I am releasing my debut EP in April! I am extremely excited for the next couple of months and hope that my music continues to reach a larger audience, and that I can inspire people with my experiences.
