Luke Rhodes makes music that delves deeply into universal emotions. With the help of a team of collaborators and recording under the aegis of Fallen Roads, he offers new single titled Where She Goes, a song that examines the insecurities and the tangled communication that often accompanies human relationships with all their confusion and complexity. Released last Friday The Fountain caught up with Luke to discuss the single in more depth.

TF: You have a new single out, what reception have you had thus far?

Very positive so far. We had the single release party a couple nights ago and the feedback was even better than I had hoped for. It’s a great feeling for sure, but now it’s time to get back to work!

TF: How would you sum up Where She Goes in one sentence?

Soulful, suspenseful, driving rock and roll.

TF: Fallen Roads is an unusual band name, what inspired this one?

Ha! It is indeed, but here’s the scoop: my last name is Rhodes, my Mom’s maiden name is Fallen, aaaaaand I don’t believe in god anymore, which will become pretty evident in the next release, haha.

TF: Will you be performing the track live anytime soon, it would be great to hear it in that format?

Well right now I’m focusing on writing and releasing as a “solo” artist, so other than a stripped acoustic rendition here and there, probably not. HOWEVER, once I get a nice collection of songs out over the course of 2020, I plan on recruiting a rocking band to help me bring things to life on stage.

TF: What is your plan for the remainder of the year, some more single releases, an EP?

Yes and yes. Already have an EP in the works, as well as the single to follow. If you liked Where She Goes, definitely stay tuned for the next few releases. I am beyond excited to get these songs into your earholes.
