Glasgow two-piece Morning Midnight released their debut track, Ancoats Junction, back in July. Now they are back with there follow up and it’s called Hearts A Mess. Jess Pascale and Jordan Scott spoke with The Fountain about the new track and dropped the mention of an EP release and some live gigs.

TF: A new single, how exciting, what has the reception been like so far?

It’s been amazing, we’ve had so much support and it feels so good to have a song out in the world.

TF: With a title like Hearts a Mess, what can we expect from this track?

It’s a very personal song, it’s also quite intimate and dreamy. Would go down well with a glass of wine on a Sunday night!

TF: Will you be promoting the track with a tour at all, will we have the pleasure of seeing you live?

We’ve got a couple of dates coming up before the end of the year to coincide with an EP release, we’re super excited to get out there and play these songs to some new faces.

TF: How did you meet and form Morning Midnight?

We’d played in bands before and met in Lancaster, before deciding to make the jump up to Glasgow for a fresh start and new music.
