Review: Pussy Riot

Pussy Riot, the infamous feminist protest punk group known for staging stunts in their home of Russia hit the headlines when two of their members ending up imprisoned as a result.

Their protest in an orthodox church named a ‘Punk Prayer’ was to highlight their opposition to Putin’s regime and his vision of his country, landed three of their members with two-year jail sentences for which they served 21 months.
