Review: Wolfgang Flur, The Spree 2018

The first weekend of the The Spree, an annual festival held in Paisley over two weeks in October contained a late night Saturday session from ex-Kraftwerk member Wolfgang Flur. The venue was certainly busy and Wolfgang’s west coast fans were out in abundance to catch the man in action, as he DJed and danced on the stage of the Spiegeltent whilst turning Paisley into mini-Berlin for an after-hours session.

Review: Primavera Sound 2018

An invite to the first music festival outside the UK was enticing particularly with the calibre of line-up on offer at Primavera Sound 2018. The festival has built up a reputation for delivering stellar line-ups and now in it’s eighteenth year and getting bigger every year, it takes place in the almost guaranteed Barcelona sunshine at the end of May. This is it’s eighth year at the Parc Del Forum offering twelve stages, delivering a blend of top acts doing the festival rounds, smaller up and coming artists and local names to delight an international crowd in attendance.

Review: Stag and Dagger 2018

The Stag and Dagger Festival still keeps the indie music lovers entertained for a day of up and coming as well as established music, and the main stretch of Sauchiehall St in Glasgow busy on a May Sunday, now in it’s tenth year. There was enough going on throughout the eclectic line up to keep most interested or enthused by music, and clearly by the time we turned up everyone had indulged a little too much in the alcohol and the responses to the music from the crowd had a slight twist.
